Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane has teamed up with the charity I AM ALS to launch its new Push for Progress campaign, which aims to accelerate research into ALS and expand access to treatments.

The American actor was diagnosed with the disease in April, and commented 'For over a century, ALS has been incurable, and we're done accepting the status quo... We need the fastest path to a cure. That's why I've partnered with I AM ALS and their Push for Progress'.
